This blog is intended as a running diary,
partly to show the sorts of work I have done at Wimpole but also as a reminder
to me when people ask! It won’t be a day-by-day full blown account of what I
get up to every week; I don’t have the time or the patience for that.
Where to start though? I could list
everything I have learnt and done over the course of six years but that would
be boring for the reader and also a struggle for me trying to remember
everything! I could start with a kind of ‘best bits’ of the previous years but
that would also strain my memory somewhat. So I’m gonna just start with the
most recent onwards and you just accept that I have experience of these things
from before, that way you’re happy (and not bored) and I’m happy!
This is also my first blog so you’ll
forgive me if it doesn’t all run and/or read clearly. Hopefully I will get
better.
By the way, the blog title uses the old Medieval name (Wynpol) for the old settlement of Wimpole. My reasons are my own although I'm ana archaeologist so that has something to do with it!
